Egyptian security permit (تصريح أمني)

Egyptian passport holders flying from Egypt to some countries may be asked for a security permit at the airport. Only part of this is confirmed officially, so check with your airline and the Passports Administration before you book.
Confirmed by an official source
- Egypt's Ministry of Interior announced in December 2014 that Egyptians aged 18–40 travelling to Turkey need security approval from passport control.[1]Official statement from 2014. We found no newer official page, so the rule may have changed.
Guidance, not confirmed officially
- Travel sites report it is also asked for flights to Jordan, Georgia and Lebanon.[3][4]
- Usually asked for: passport, national ID, photos, the destination visa and proof of work (HR letter, commercial register or union card).[3][4]
- It is reported to be valid for one trip only, so don't get it too early.[3]
